ACD operates a mission critical and extremely reliable network. Our goal is to ensure that you have maximum reliability and performance. ACD monitors each and every connection on our network. If you are a business, we know when your connection goes down, and our Network Operations Center is already looking into the reasons why and are rolling out our Field Service if needed to fix the problem.

Many providers, like the cable company and the local phone monopoly, do not post any maintenance notices. We have been running networks a long time, and we think that is just irresponsible. You should know if your connection is going to be upgraded or worked on.

We have implemented a new feature on My Account (located at http://myaccount.acd.net), that allows you to customize the maintenance notices that you receive. By default new customers are setup to receive all maintenance notices. We know this may be a little much, so you can now specify which regions and what types of services you would like maintenance notices for. Check it out and let us know your thoughts!

We also believe in continuous improvement. Therefore we carefully audit our maintenance work and determine how we can improve future reliability and redundancy. We carefully hunt bugs in the equipment and software we use on our network to make sure they are fixed by us and our network technology partners.
