NEWS FROM THE NETWORK OPERATIONS CENTER - 24 by 7 by 365
ACD. Network Operations Center.

ACD is pleased to announce that our customer support is now available 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Effective March 1st, we have expanded our customer support hours for all customers, including residential. You may call us at any time for help with all of your services.

While larger business and institutional customers have had 24 by 365 customer support, we have expanded this service to all of our customers. Business and Institutional customers still have a priority-pin support number that will get them priority support from our network operations center.

Our support staff are located at our Lansing, MI datacenter and are available for hands-on 24x7x365 support of our collocation customers, as well.

DID YOU KNOW? - ACD AWARDED STIMULUS FUNDING.
ACD in partnership with several other entities has been awarded stimulus funding for building nearly a thousand miles of fiber backbone throughout the state of Michigan. Construction is expected to start in the late spring this year, and will take two to three years to build. The fiber goes through 32 rural counties in Michigan. SIP, also known as Session Initiation Protocol, is a technology, that sends phone calls over Internet type networks. ACD provides phone service directly to newer VOIP based phone systems directly from our phone switch. Most of the newest phone systems can use SIP, including Avaya, Cisco, Asterisk, and we have recently tested with Toshiba systems.
