ACD operates an optical network between the major cities in Michigan. These locations
represent ACD's major aggregation points for our metropolitan area networks as we transport
these to various long haul networks.
ACD has multiple paths out of all major hub cities for redundancy. We operate redundant SONET
networks along these links and redundant multi-Gigabit Ethernet connections between these locations.
All points on our network are operational with Multicast video and MPLS networking services.
At each of these locations we have Cisco ONS 15454 SONET optical platforms and systems and Cisco
12000 Core MPLS routers.
